Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop 🌳

What a fantastic morning it was!

This morning, folks from our community and I came together with our gardening experts, Bob and Sharon Yocum, for our monthly Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop. Bob and Sharon are our local Master Gardeners through the UCCE Master Gardeners of San Bernardino County. With their knowledge we delved into the art of pruning and caring for our fruit trees during these summer months. After an engaging classroom session, we rolled up our sleeves and headed to the garden's fruit trees, putting Bob and Sharon's teachings into action. The turnout was incredible, with a group that was not only eager to learn but also had a bunch of insightful questions, all expertly addressed by our pros.

Now armed with this newfound knowledge, everyone can dive into tending to their own fruit trees, applying the valuable insights from today's workshop.

Huge thanks to everyone who RSVP'd and joined us today. Meeting each and every one of you was an absolute pleasure. Looking forward to having you join us for upcoming workshops on the horizon! Watch for future workshops on our website, or through our Facebook Page. Also, Thank you Bob and Sharon for continuing to share your knowledge with us.

Thank you Sharon and Donna for the donation of Hollyhock seeds. We will most certainly be planting these seeds in our very near future in the back of the garden to help hide the back fence that separated us and the neighboring field. I think it’s going to look amazing once they start to flower in the next few years.

Warmly, TracEy
